The new arrival in SAN leaves no room for competitors, proud to be among the few owners of this unique machine of its kind for excellent performance and print quality.
Thanks to this new configuration, SAN is able to produce a wider range of printed matter for new applications and new markets. For example, the creation of commercial products with the application of decorative paints thus creating matt gloss effects. In the packaging market with the use of Pantone colors together with the four-color process and the paint for the production as well as packaging also for displays and exhibitors using the format.
thanks to the great variety of automation devices (fast plate changes, synchronized washing, electronic team, etc.) and to the increased print speed performance, we improve our production performance by reducing production times. The presence of the painter and the prolonged exit with ovens allow to apply a primer to protect the inks on the printouts, which considerably reduces the waiting time before proceeding with the finishing and preparation of the printout.
Automatic print quality control systems include densitometric control, spectrophotometric control, and automatic registration. In addition, the machine is equipped with a camera (Qualitronic color control) which reads the values of each printed sheet and corrects deviations from the set standards. All this to ensure the highest print quality throughout the run and ensure consistency of results between different signatures or in the case of reprints.
Rapida 164 5L is interconnected both to other production departments and to order management systems. In this way it is possible to check the real-time status of the productions and to provide final balance data and production settings archive for any reprints.
Despite the large format of the sheet, the Plaste Stretch device mounted in the machine ensures the possibility of moving each single sheet according to the deviation of the support, to obtain maximum registration precision on the entire sheet.
